For the homily, Fr. MD discusses the difference between knowing about Jesus and knowing Jesus personally.  He uses an example of people knowing about King Charles but it does not necessarily mean they are his personal friend.  It is the Christians’ goal to know much about God and to know Him personally through prayers and frequent reception of the Sacraments.  Based on the readings of Isaiah 22: 19-23; Romans 11: 33-36; & Mathew 16: 13-20.
