The gospel reading today talks about John criticizing the Jewish religious leaders.  Why did he do that?  Because he was concerned about them.  Likewise, we need to accept our loved ones’ corrections when they notice our faults and sins.  Based on the readings of Isaiah 11: 1-10; Romans 15: 4-9; & Matthew 3: 1-12.
