Today the gospel tells the story about the prodigal son returning to his loving father who embraced him.  That is how God feels whenever we go to Confession.  He runs to embrace us and quickly forgives us.  May this gospel reading inspire you to go to Confession.  Based on the readings of Joshua 5: 9-12; 2 Corinthians 5: 17-21; & Luke 15: 1-32.
