In the gospel reading people told Bartimaeus, a blind man, to remain silent. However, Jesus called him out from the crowd. This story reminds Fr. MD of Francis, our beloved Pope, who gives voice to the poor and the marginalized. Based on the readings of Jeremiah 31: 7-9; Hebrews 5: 1-6; & Mark 10: 46-52.
