22nd Sunday In Ordinary Time

In the gospel, Jesus invites us to become humble.  How can we become more humble?  Reread the gospel because in it, we will find an easy recipe on how to become more humble – that is, to socialize more with the poor and the marginalized.  Based on the readings of Sirach 3: 17-29; Hebrews 12: 18-24; & Luke 14: 1-14.

21st Sunday In Ordinary Time

The gospel talks about Jesus’ followers asking him this question:  Will a few be saved?  The Church is always interested to know who is already saved – that is, saints who are now in Heaven.  Let’s watch the video to find out more.  Based on the readings of Isaiah 66: 18-21; Hebrews 12: 5-13; & Luke 13: 22-30.

Having A relationship with Jesus does not mean our lives will be easier.  In fact, Jesus warned that it could be difficulty sometimes.  Nonetheless, it would be worthwhile.  Based on the readings of Jeremiah 38: 4-10; Hebrews 12: 1-4; & Luke 12: 49-53.

19th Sunday In Ordinary Time

How can a person become successful?  Definitely s/he has to work hard for a long time to see theIR fruits.  Likewise, if we want to go to Heaven, we need to have a strong commitment nourishing our relationship with God and other people.  Based on the readings of Wisdom 18: 6-9; Hebrews 11: 1-19; & Luke 12: 32-48.
