It is not uncommon for people to make excuses for not going to church or praying.  Amazingly, people during Jesus’ time made similar excuses.  May we be inspired to always put God first in our lives!  Based on the readings of 1 Kings 19: 16-21; Galatians 5: 1-18; & Luke 9: 51-62.

Today is when we remember the Most Holy Trinity.  It is impossible to fully understand the nature of the Trinity because God is omnipotent.  However, the Nicene Creed can help us understand better about the Trinity.  God bless.  Based on the readings of Proverb 8: 22-31; Romans 5: 1-5; & John 16: 12-15.
