Many people reading Jesus’ parable as narrated in the gospel today would probably quickly consider God being unfair. This is not true.  By telling this parable, Jesus wants to emphasize God’s love and mercy.  Based on the readings of Isaiah 55: 6-9; Philippians 1: 20-27; & Matthew 20: 1-16.
