3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time

Why did the people weep as narrated in the 1st reading?  They felt sad because they realized they had been ignorant of God’s laws.  But then they chose to rejoice because they were no longer in the darkness of ignorance.  Likewise, Jesus wants to deliver us from the darkness of sin, indifference, and ignorance.  Based on the readings of Nehemiah 8: 2-10; 1 Corinthians 12: 12-30; & Luke 1: 1-21.

2nd Sunday in Ordinary Time

For the vlog today, Fr. MD chose to focus on the second reading.  We all have different gifts from God to help us serve Him and other people.  With all these different gifts put together, we can make a difference in the world.  Based on the readings of Isaiah 62: 1-5; 1 Corinthians 12: 4-11; & John 2: 1-11.

Baptism of the Lord

Fr. MD, in this vlog, shares his reflection on God’s words to Jesus: “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.”  If we truly believe that God loves us and that He is happy with us, we will feel more motivated to serve Him and other people.  Let’s watch the vlog to find out more.  Based on the readings of Isaiah 42: 1-7; Acts 10: 34-38; & Luke 3: 15-22

In this vlog, Fr. MD shares his recollection of the magnificent stargazing in Australian Outback.  That experience taught him two important lessons.  This vlog will tell you more.  Based on the readings of Isaiah 60: 1-6; Ephesians 3: 2-6; & Matthew 2: 1-12
