30th Sunday In Ordinary Time

The gospel today is a continuation from last week.  Another group of religious leaders ask Jesus a difficult question.  Jesus’ perfect answer probably surprised them.  In this vlog, Fr. MD shares his reflection on the gospel.  Based on the readings of Exodus 22: 20-26; 1 Thessalonians 1: 5-10; Matthew 22: 34-40.

Paying taxes has always been a controversial issue – ever since the time of Jesus!  Fr. MD takes this opportunity to discuss how Christians should make their concerns known to the government.  God bless.  Based on the readings of Isaiah 45: 1-6; 1 Thessalonians 1: 1-5; Matthew 22: 15-21

28th Sunday In Ordinary Time

Jesus gives another parable in today’s gospel.  What point is He trying to make? The same point as the parable from last week’s gospel.  Fr. MD shares his reflections on the importance of our effort not to delay to nurture our spiritual life in this vlog. Based on the readings of Isaiah 25: 6-10; Philippians 4: 12-20; Matthew 22: 1-144.

27th Sunday In Ordinary Time

Today Fr. MD talks about how important it is that we not postpone taking care of our spiritual life.  Our souls will live forever, and after our death, they will end up either in Heaven or Hell – depending on how we live here on the earth.  May God give us the strength and wisdom to live our lives well.  Based on the readings of Isaiah 5: 1-7; Philippians 4: 6-9; Matthew 21: 33-43.
