The gospel states that people felt drawn to St. John the Baptist.  Why?  Fr. MD thinks it is because they were attracted to his holiness and decided to seek God for themselves.  We can likewise become holy and help people seek God.  Based on the readings of Baruch 5: 1-9; Philippians 1: 4-11; & Luke 3: 1-6.
