Sixth Sunday of Easter

Today, Fr. MD shares his reflection on two main points of the gospel: 1) if we truly love God, then we will follow His commandments; 2) if we follow His commandments, God would send the Holy Spirit.  May this vlog gives you some food for thought.  Based on the readings of Acts 8: 5-17; 1 Peter 3: 15-18; John 14: 15-21

Blessed Miquel Pro, a brave Jesuit, chose death because he wanted to serve God rather than the Mexican government. May his courageous example inspire us to always put God first in our life.

Fifth Sunday of Easter

Today, in the gospel, Jesus tells us not to let our hearts be troubled.  In other words, Jesus teaches us that we need to trust God.  Trusting in God can be very hard and this is one of many reasons why Jesus sends the Holy Spirit to us.  Based on the readings of Acts 6:1-7; 1 Peter 2: 4-9; John 14: 1-12.
