Why did Jesus criticize the Pharisees and other Jewish religious leaders as narrated in the gospel today? Fr. MD thinks it is because they thought they already had the answers on how to have a meaningful relationship with God, and their minds were closed to Jesus’ teachings. Are we like the Pharisees and other religious leaders in Jesus’ day? How can we improve ourselves? Based on the readings of Ezekiel 18:25-28; Philippians 2:1-11; Matthew 21: 28-32.
