Why is God always quick to forgive the people’s sins?  Because He does not permit evil to get a hold on Him.  Likewise, we need to quickly forgive others so evil will not keep a hold on us.  May the gospel inspire us to be free by forgiving the people who hurt us.  Based on the readings of Joshua 5: 9-12; 2 Corinthians 5: 17-21; Luke 15: 1-33.
