Today, in the gospel, Jesus meets and heals a leper.  It’s true that we no longer see lepers in our country.  However, we have many other taboos in our lives.  Yet, this does not stop Jesus from wanting to meet and love us.  Based on the readings of Leviticus 13: 1-2, 44-46; 1 Corinthians 10: 31-11; Mark 1: 40-45.
